What is careviso?

careviso is a healthcare technology company supporting everyone involved in diagnostic testing. We created a proprietary platform, called seeQer, for payors, physicians, and laboratories that improves patient care through streamlined workflows. By automating the impossible we’re solving the most complex problems in the healthcare industry: financial transparency and prior authorizations. careviso was also formally known as CMT Solutions.

What is seeQer?

seeQer is a secure, online platform that runs benefits analysis calculations, can indicate if a prior authorization is needed, and is the next step in effectively managing personalized healthcare. It can tell a patient what the out of pocket is expected to be for a test, allowing patients and the physician to focus on their condition or disease, decreasing administrative tasks for the physician office.

How do you handle the flow of information from our clinic to the careviso platform?

We can securely handle the flow of information from your clinic into our proprietary platform in many different ways. The careviso and clinic IT teams will decide on a file transfer method, from the following:

Input directly from the clinic into the careviso portal
CSV File to include Box or SFTP
API

Is using careviso and seeQer for price transparency HIPAA compliant?

Yes, using careviso and seeQer for price transparency is HIPAA compliant. A Business Associate Agreement (BAA) is required at contracting to establish a relationship with a HIPAA covered entity (e.g. a clinician’s practice) to ensure the security of the covered entity’s data assets. Price transparency servicing requires access to Protected Health Information (PHI) and having a BAA with careviso helps ensure security and overall HIPAA compliance.

What payors does careviso work with?

careviso has the ability to work with payors such as Highmark, UnitedHeathcare, BCBS, Cigna, UPMC, Carefirst. Over the past 5 years our network has expanded to over 1000 payors, with new payors added every month.
