As of June 1st, 2021, Beacon (Beacon Laboratory Benefit Solutions, Inc.) no longer manages the prior authorization process for UnitedHealthcare. Instead all laboratory prior authorizations are processed through Optum for UHC health plans. After enrollment with CMT is complete, we will send a request for multi-TIN access to the administrator of your practice’s UHC account.
