Meet Dan
CMT personnel are a key part of our success as a company, from creating the software that fuels to handling payor plan updates seamlessly. For that reason, we’d like to highlight Dan! Dan is a Senior Software Engineer for CMT with a main focus in client integration. He is responsible for getting our clients set up and integrated with CMT. As CMT’s first internal engineer, he’s also worked on many of CMT’s core features!
Dan studied computer science at the University of Rhode Island and got his first Job working as a Desktop Support Technician who maintained individual laptops and networking systems. A couple years later, Dan decided that he wanted to program again and landed his first junior engineering job in Virginia of 2014 where he worked for 5 years in the precision medicine space. Here he developed systems that placed cancer patients into promising clinical trials based on various gene mutations. For the last 3 years, he’s been working as a Senior Software Engineer in supporting client integrations, and contributing to core CMT features such as SeeQer and our internal workflow system. If you are looking to integrate with CMT you’ll probably meet him! When Dan isn’t at work, he’s enjoying hobby coding projects, hanging out with his fiancé and their dog Leo, playing video games, and creating various trinkets with resin.
